I recently made a 30-minute drive to Bass Bay Brewhouse, eager to enjoy their delicious fish fry. Unfortunately, while waiting at the bar, I encountered a customer openly using offensive and racist language. As a person of color, I was not only appalled but deeply enraged. After a brief exchange with this individual, I took my food and left, shaken by the experience. Rather than immediately posting about what happened, I chose to contact the restaurant’s management. Their response was swift and decisive. Not only did they take my concerns seriously, but the owner personally reached out to me to address the situation. I was both surprised and impressed by their professionalism and their firm stance in ensuring that this racist individual would not be allowed back into the restaurant. This experience could have easily kept me from ever returning, but the way Bass Bay handled it restored my trust. Their commitment to maintaining a welcoming and respectful environment speaks volumes. Beyond their fantastic food, their impressive service and beautiful location make them a restaurant worth supporting. I highly recommend Bass Bay Brewhouse—not just for their meals, but for their integrity.
Wow!!! What a venue! Amazing lake views and great outdoor eating areas! I highly recommend their beer cheese soup! Great for parties of all sizes. There can be long wait times in the summer for outdoor seating but there is a pontoon boat you can ride around the lake for 4 while you wait! I also recommend the steak tips! Very good!
A great place to sit outside and enjoy a great meal. Tucked away in a neighborhood a nd was busy on the Thursday night we were there. A nice selection of local beers and craft cocktails. My wife enjoyed the Miss Daly. We had the cheese curds chicken Caesar Salad and Spicy Chicken Panini.
What a perfect ending to our day. We enjoyed a mini-vacation on our drive home from work! I had the deluxe cheeseburger with fries, and my husband had the BLT with a side salad. Both were exquisite and generously portioned. The best part was the atmosphere, dining on the patio in the middle of a beautifully landscaped lakefront lot. We were offered to take a pontoon boat ride around the lake for 5 per person, and decided to do that on our next visit. They offer yard games to entertain the waiting diners as well.
For the last four years, I have enjoyed going to Bass Bay Brewhouse for Easter Brunch. I absolutely love it. There are so many different options to choose from. The food is so amazing! The cheesie potatoes, shredded ham, and the desserts are my favorite!!! The staff is super nice, too!
Update: Went for dinner on a Thursday night. Got there around 7:00 and the placed was packed. Decided to get seated at the bar. They were definitely swamped and short handed. The bartenders did their best to keep up, but it was tough. Finally able to get our order in, and the food came hot and good. Been here many times over the years (even when it was the Aud-Mar). This time was to pick up a gift certificate for a friend. Like to spread the joy of a good meal here. The bartender quickly put together the gift card, and checked me out. Easy Peasy. Since we ate here last time, they have enclosed the outdoor bar, and setup some private domes. Looks like a great option for outdoor winter dining.
My lovely girlfriend and I had a wonderful date night at this fine establishment. Everyone, from the wait staff, the bar tenders, hostess, chef, were so kind. The food was excellent! The chicken fried chicken was sooooo good that I already am craving going back. I have a Wisconsin old fashioned about once a year and tonight was the night..... delicious. Next time we return, we definitely plan on sitting out on the patio. Such a beautiful property. Thank you for the great experience! Had a great meal with a friend! Beautiful setting and fabulous menu! We each had the bartenders choice Bloody Mary infused with roasted veggies and all the toppings. We shared a Salmon Power Salad with Spicy honey vinaigrette- so darn good. Then shared the Tenderloin Tips- Garlic Char Crusted Beef Tips, Caramelized Onions, Fingerling Potatoes, Mushrooms, Asparagus, Garlic Herb Butter, Shaved Parmesan, Microgreens. You won’t be disappointed! I wish we had room for dessert! You can even get a 20 min pontoon ride around the bay as you have a cocktail before dinner!
